That’s hairdresser DANNA SACHS elaborating on her philosophy which drives her passion…making her clients look stunning when they leave her chair.

Visionary and goal-oriented, DANNA strives to create new and exciting trends in the hair industry.

DANNA was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on April 16, 1969. Her mother was a very well-known hairdresser, and DANNA basically grew up in her trendy salon. After graduating high school, she traveled to Israel and joined forces with Rock Hair 10-10 in Tel Aviv for 18 months. DANNA then returned to South Africa and attended Johannesburg Technical School…meanwhile, she apprenticed at top South African salon Giovanni Battista, then obtained her South African Cosmetology license in 1991. DANNA then joined Carlton Hair International with designs on eventually moving to America. There, she became Assistant Manager and was part of the artistic team which styled the annual Miss South Africa pageant and the 1992 Miss World pageant.

In 1994, DANNA finally realized her dream of coming to the U.S. She moved to Los Angeles and reprised her role as Assistant Manager at Carlton Hair International’s Santa Monica, CA location.

Then in 1996, DANNA moved to Allen Edwards Salon and Spa in Brentwood, CA, and was there till April 2009. She was the highest-booked stylist for nine years. She can now be found in her new salon, Bellas in Brentwood. Click Here to find me.

DANNA’s celebrity clientele has included Brooke Shields, Rita Wilson, Mark Harmon and Brittany Snow, to name a few. DANNA has been also quoted in Color and Style magazine, and has done hair at numerous fashion shows, including Los Angeles Fashion Week…

"I believe strongly in educating my clients on how to maintain and achieve healthy, shiny, manageable hair," she reveals. "A healthy lifestyle is crucial: healthy insides manifest in healthy outsides. I believe that is part of my responsibility to my clients. It is the whole package when you sit in my chair."
